Xena took two pictures to get the whole tree. I pasted them together. Tonight we'll decorate it! Caitlan thinks we can do some good old-fashioned decorating, with popcorn on a string and hand-cut paper, to fill in the gaps with ornamentation that is fun and connective, rather than rushing out to buy more stuff.
I wonder what it would be like, to decorate a tree with the past year's trinkity crap? Happy meal toys, key rings from tradeshows, artfully manipulated packaging from birthday presents and frozen dinners, AOL CDs,... Hmm, that sounds like a pretty interesting project.
What a lovely tree! I like the idea of making decorations. We do a lot of that here. I should take some pictures of the treasures we have managed to create.
