We went in the water while we were at Brannan with the Art Car artists. My son swam, I discovered I was too timid to do more than wade in the cold water. We also picked blackberries and hunted for turtles.
The water Hyacinth was in bloom.
After reflection, I am promising myself to be less reserved and to go ahead and get all the way wet. And uncomfortable. And then enjoy the heck out of being cold and shivery.

ReplyDeleteKrista: I should have written "we searched for turtles." No turtles were found, none were harmed, hee hee. My son LOVES turtles. He loves most things amphibious.
We did see a small fresh-water jelly though.
