HNT - take me to the water

We went in the water while we were at Brannan with the Art Car artists. My son swam, I discovered I was too timid to do more than wade in the cold water. We also picked blackberries and hunted for turtles.

The water Hyacinth was in bloom.

After reflection, I am promising myself to be less reserved and to go ahead and get all the way wet. And uncomfortable. And then enjoy the heck out of being cold and shivery.

  6. femi, addict, bs, S&J, Chick: Next time I have the chance, I'll polar bear and then take a pic of my erect man-nipple for you ;)

Krista: I should have written "we searched for turtles." No turtles were found, none were harmed, hee hee. My son LOVES turtles. He loves most things amphibious.

We did see a small fresh-water jelly though.
