A new record for Arctic Sea ice minimum, and the birth of a navigable northwest passage!? I generally don't post stuff like this anymore: for one thing, you can find it in the general news, for another, it generally polarizes people, and for another... well, it's just a downer.But I had to write this: anyone who thinks this sort of thing is some sort of natural cycle, just look at all the drowning polar bears. They didn't evolve to cope with this. So this phenomenon is newer than their evolution.
