Short Circuit

Whoops!

I went to check the voltage across the main power on the Sparrow (it's about 170 volts DC) and I hallucinated the red was black:

PUh-WHZT!

And fried the voltmeter. Guess I gotta schedule some time and dollars to make it so I don't do that again. The car drives fine, thanks, it's just the 1950s era voltmeter that has tested its last.

    And now I know what one sounds like when it fries!

    I was getting such a kick out of using 50 year-old technology, too. I hate when I make landfill like that.

    Oh well, at least I can hand it in to the escrap recyclers on Saturday.
