Someone must have read my blog about my Mom's cake talent. 'Cause I got cake! Um... and enough candles to singe my eyebrows. I like my new marsh birds t-shirt. There are a couple of Great Blue Herons around Alameda that aren't very shy anymore.
We played my new board game, Sorry!(R) Whew, my son is SO competitive. It's MY birthday, of course I'm going to win! Although I must say my heart was really going out to him: he must have drawn about 20 cards while his last pawn was trying to get into home, before I finally won. Fortunes of war, buddy. Losing builds character.
