Sustainability means making time for your friends and business acquaintances. I can't tell the two apart in my BNI group. I care for all the members very much!
Caitlan noted that at a regular company picnic, if the people gathered were the only ones to survive past the end of civilization, you'd be in a world of hurt. How can you rebuild society if everyone makes pencils? While with BNI, since there's one representative from each profession, many of the critical skills necessary would be preserved.
