Xena successfully reached the top of Mount Whitney! Yay!
The smoke-filled Owens Valley made the first part of the treck, from 8300 feet up to Trail Camp, pretty miserable. The smoke is probably from the very large Santa Barbara Zaca fire. But she caught her breath overnight, and had no real troubles getting up to 14,500 feet.
Everyone in their party of 8 made it. Way to go!
