Every night for the past week, as I'm trying to sleep.

We've been seeing a mouse, or mice, outside and once inside. I'm not too excited about sharing my house with mice. There are two cats that live here; why the heck aren't they earning their keep?

Every time I turn on the light, it stops. Last night, though, the light was already on. I tracked down the sound. It was a jerusalem cricket.
Poor thing was surely tired of being in my room. I tossed it outside.
